Materials:

#4 worsted weight yarn, approx 450 yards

Polyfibre fill

G 4mm hook (gauge is not important in this item, if you wish to use a smaller hook, or larger hook this will simply change the size of the finished product)

Needle for sewing in ends and attaching pieces

Safety Eyes: 27mm used on the one pictured here

Stitch Guide:

sc: single crochet

sc incr: single crochet increase

sc dec: single crochet decrease

sl: slip stitch ch: chain

dc: double crochet

dc incr: double crochet increase

3 dc incr: three double crochet in one stitch

5 dc shell: 5 dc in one stitch

Special Instructions: I suggest using the invisible dec wherever it says in the pattern to do a dec, it helps with the overall look of the item, and helps to reduce stuffing showing

through on those rows/rounds

Wings:  I made these wings with Loops and Thread Impeccable, this tends to be a stiffer yarn, so they do stay out on their own. I also made these wings with Craftsmart, which tends to be softer, and they were floppy. So the stiffer your yarn, the more the wings will stand out on their own.
