Materials: 

#4 medium weight yarn, approx 140 yards

Polyfibre fill

E 3.5mm hook

Needle for sewing in ends and attaching pieces

24 - 25mm eyes

                                                         

Stitch Guide: 

sl: slip stitch

ch: chain

sk: skip

st: stitch

bb: back bump

yo: yarn over

mc: main colour

ac: accent colour

blo: back loop only

flo: front loop only

sc: single crochet

sc incr: single crochet increase

sc dec: single crochet decrease

hdc: half double crochet

dc: double crochet

                                


Special Instructions: I suggest using the invisible dec wherever a dec is called for

                                                                       

Gauge is not important with this item, changing the hook or yarn size will simply change the size of the finished piece, just make sure you use the appropriate size hook for your yarn

Body:


In mc


Start with a magic circle, or ch 3 with a sl to join, however you feel comfortable starting on the round


Round 1: 6 sc in circle (6)


Round 2: 1 sc incr, repeat around (12)


Round 3: 1 sc, 1 sc incr, repeat around (18)


Round 4: 2 sc, 1 sc incr, repeat around (24)


Round 5: 3 sc, 1 sc incr, repeat around (30)


Round 6: 4 sc, 1 sc incr, repeat around (36)


Round 7: 5 sc, 1 sc incr, repeat around (42)


Round 8: 6 sc, 1 sc incr, repeat around (48)


Round 9 – 24: 1 sc, repeat around (48)


Insert eyes between rounds 14/15 with approx 6 st showing between


Round 25: 10 sc, 1 sc dec, repeat around (44)

Stuff as you go, but do not over stuff so the bottom will lay flat after closed


Round 26: blo: 1 sc dec, repeat around (22)


Round 27: 9 sc, 1 sc dec, repeat around (20)


Round 28: 2 sc, 1 sc dec, repeat around (15)


Round 29: 1 sc, 1 sc dec, repeat around (10)


Round 30: 1 sc dec, repeat around (5)


Finish off and weave in ends



Skirt:


Attach yarn to loop from round 26


Round 1: 1 hdc, repeat around, sl to join (44)


Round 2: ch 1, (1 hdc + 1 dc in the next st, 1 dc + 1 hdc in the next st, 2 sl) x11, join with a sl (66)


Finish off and weave in ends



Eyelids For Non Sinker Eyes: (make two)


Ch 11


Row 1: 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, 1 sc, 2 hdc, 2 dc, 2 hdc, 2 sc, turn (10)


Row 2: ch 1, 3 sc, 4 hdc, 3 sc (10)


Finish off with a long tail to sew over the eyes



Eyelids For Sinker Eyes: (make two)


Ch 8


Row 1: 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, 1 sc, 3 hdc, 2 sc, turn (7)


Row 2: ch 1, 2 sc, 3 hdc, 2 sc (7)


Finish off with a long tail to sew over the eyes



Arms: (make two)


Start with a magic circle, or ch 3 with a sl to join, however you feel comfortable starting on the round


Round 1: 6 sc in circle (6)


Round 2: 1 sc incr, repeat around (12)


Round 3: 2 sc, 1 sc incr, repeat around (16)


Round 4 – 5: 1 sc, repeat around (16)


Round 6: 6 sc, 1 sc dec, repeat around, join with a sl (14)


Finish off with a long tail to sew to the body



Joint:


In white


Start with a magic circle, or ch 3 with a sl to join, however you feel comfortable starting on the round


Stuff firmly as you go


Round 1: 6 sc in circle (6)


Round 2 – 5: 1 sc, repeat around (6)


Change to black


Round 6: 1 sc, repeat around (6)


Change to red


Round 7: 1 sc, repeat around


Finish off and weave in ends



Bong:


Start with a magic circle, or ch 3 with a sl to join, however you feel comfortable starting on the round


Stuff firmly as you go


Round 1: 6 sc in circle (6)


Round 2: 1 sc incr, repeat around (12)


Round 3: 1 sc, 1 sc incr, repeat around (18)


Round 4: blo: 5 sc, 1 sc incr, repeat around (21)


Round 5 – 6: 1 sc, repeat around (21)


Round 7: 5 sc, 1 sc dec, repeat around (18)


Round 8: 1 sc, repeat around (18)


Round 9: 7 sc, 1 sc dec, repeat around (16)


Round 10: 1 sc, repeat around (16)


Round 11: 2 sc, 1 sc dec, repeat around (12)


Round 12: 1 sc dec, repeat around (6)


Round 13 – 15: 1 sc, repeat around, sl to join on the last round (6)


Round 16: ch 1, flo: 6 hdc (6)


Finish off with a long tail, use this tail to thread down to round 15, place a few stitches through both sides to close, leaving the hdc round open




Bowl:


Start with a long tail to sew to the bong


Start with a magic circle, or ch 3 with a sl to join, however you feel comfortable starting on the round


Round 1: 6 sc in circle (6)


Round 2: 2 sc, 1 sc incr, repeat around (8)


Round 3: 1 sc, repeat around, sl to join (8)


Finish off and weave in ends



Assembly:


Arms: attach to either side evenly so the top is touching approx round 14/15


Eyelids: position as desired over the eyes and attach


Bowl: attach at approx round 10/11
