#4 medium weight yarn1: this uses scrap bits
Polyfibre fill
G 4mm hook for worsted weight
Needle for sewing in ends
Stitch Guide:
sl: slip stitch
ch: chain
sk: skip
st: stitch
bb: back bump
yo: yarn over
mc: main colour
ac: accent colour
blo: back loop only
flo: front loop only
sc: single crochet
sc incr: single crochet increase
sc dec: single crochet decrease
Special Instructions: I suggest using the invisible dec wherever it says in the pattern to do a dec, it helps with the overall look of the item, and helps to reduce stuffing showing through on those rows/rounds
Gauge is not important with this item, changing the hook or yarn size will simply change the size of the finished piece, just make sure you use the appropriate size hook for your yarn

In ecru
Start with a magic circle, or ch 3 with a sl to join, however you feel comfortable starting on the round
Stuff firmly as you go
Round 1: 6 sc in the circle (6)
Round 2: 2 sc, 1 sc incr, repeat around (8)
Round 3: 1 sc, repeat around (8)
Round 4: 3 sc, 1 sc incr, repeat around (10)
Round 5: 4 sc, 1 sc incr, repeat around (12)
Round 6: 5 sc, 1 sc incr, repeat around (14)
Round 7 – 17: 1 sc, repeat around (14)
Change to black
Round 18: 5 sc, 1 sc dec, repeat around (12)
Change to red
Round 19: 1 sc, repeat around (12)
Change to orange
Round 20: 4 sc, 1 sc dec, repeat around (10)
Round 21: 1 sc, repeat around (10)
Round 22: 1 sc dec, repeat around (5)
Finish off and weave in ends
